Postpartum Planning
In-home or virtual 1 to 2-hour daytime session(s) to:
Review lactation education, postpartum recovery, and newborn care basics.
Discuss and evaluate care team options: family, friends, providers, doulas, etc.
Consider options/needs for infant feeding and develop a plan to help whichever method be successful.
Review typical newborn and infant sleep development and strategies for supporting whole-family sleep.
Help decide what supplies may or may not be most useful postpartum, in context with home environment.
Discuss mental health factors to identify strategies and resources for everyday wellness and for times of greater support need.
Fees and Starting Contract
I provide weekly invoices for my services, charged at an hourly rate. To start a client contract I require a minimum commitment of 24 hours of postpartum doula support. This does not apply to virtual or in-person postpartum planning sessions that are not part of a larger postpartum contract.
Daytime Rate starting at $60/hour
Overnight Rate starting at $65/hour
